What is Genie Mac App?

Genie Cloud Server is your personal AI computer in the cloud. It's not a chatbot — it's a full Linux server running an AI agent framework called OpenClaw that can read your files, execute commands, run code in sandboxes, reach you on Telegram or Discord, and work autonomously even when you're offline. You access and configure it through the web app at genie.deva.me or the mobile app on iOS and Android, but the AI lives and works on your server 24/7.

Why Genie?

If you work with AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, you already know the pain: each agent lives in its own terminal window, your browser has 40 tabs open, and every Slack notification scatters your focus. Genie solves this by giving you a single workspace where:

  • Multiple agents run side by side on the same canvas — Claude Code on the left, Codex on the right, a browser showing docs in the middle.

  • Everything persists. Close the app, reopen it — your entire layout, terminals, and browser sessions are exactly where you left them.

  • Voice commands let you stay in flow. Hold the Option key, say "spawn codex," and a new agent appears. Say "organize" and your canvas auto-layouts.

Key Features at a Glance

Infinite Canvas

Pan, zoom, and arrange nodes freely on an unbounded workspace. Think of it as a whiteboard where every sticky note is a live, interactive app — a terminal, a browser, a note, or a music player.

Voice Control

Hold ⌥ (Option) to activate push-to-talk. Genie understands natural commands like "spawn Claude," "open browser," "focus my terminal," or "note: remember to fix the auth bug." Anything it doesn't recognize as a command gets sent as a prompt to your currently focused agent.

Agent Orchestration

Genie natively supports Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor Agent. Each runs in a real pseudo-terminal with full ANSI rendering. Agents can even control the canvas itself — spawning new nodes, opening browsers, rearranging the layout — through a built-in bridge protocol.

Drawing & Annotation

Sketch rectangles, arrows, lines, and freehand shapes directly on the canvas. Annotate your workspace with text labels and images. Choose from three drawing styles: Architect (crisp), Artist (light wobble), or Cartoonist (heavy wobble).

Multi-Canvas Workspaces

Create separate canvases for different projects. Switch between them with a click or a voice command. Each canvas remembers its own nodes, zoom level, and layout.

Built-in Browser

Drop a browser pane onto your canvas with persistent cookies and logins. It uses Safari's rendering engine with Web Inspector support, so you can inspect elements and debug right from your canvas.

Music

Add a SomaFM internet radio node for ambient music while you work. Because sometimes you just need lo-fi beats to code to.

Who Is It For?

Genie is built for developers and power users who:

  • Run AI coding agents as part of their daily workflow

  • Want a persistent visual workspace that survives restarts

  • Prefer voice-first or keyboard-driven workflows over mouse clicking

  • Work across multiple projects and need isolated canvases for each

System Requirements

  • macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later

  • Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, M4, or later)

  • Microphone access (for voice control)
